About ELC Loghomes
Products: ELC's main activity is design, manufacture and assembling of log houses. We are able to offer houses from different wall types (round, square or glued logs). Today substantial part of the production is wooden element houses and apartements, also traditional frame-work houses. In Norway we are also providing "Stav og Laft" houses.
Raw materials: ELC uses quality timber. For handcrafted loghouses the wood is air-dried to avoid any problems of settling or cracking. The material for maschined logs is kiln-dried down to 16-18% For glued (laminated) logs the material is prefabricated in Finland. That means the quality of wood can be compared to any Nordic producer.
Clients: We provide houses to private and business clients (ski resorts, other manufacturers, camping areas, real-estate developers etc.) alike. Up to now we have built up houses in 16 different countries all over the world. Besides Europe we have delivered to Japan and South Korea. This year the first house is sold to Northern Ireland.
Services: ELC is able to offer full range of services - house design (ArchiCad), engineer calculations, manufacturing, delivery and assembling. It can be altogether called project management. The customer will get anything he needs from one place.
Quality: Despite the wide variety of products we keep the product range under control to offer only quality goods. People in the company have more than 10 years experience in log house business, the experience helps to keep control. We only do what we do best.
Time: The average delivery time for log houses is 6 - 8 weeks. Imagine, that is faster than a factory ordered car!
